Jennifer Taylor


Jennifer Taylor MBMSc MA Cert IV Yoga Teaching, is an author, consultant and speaker. She has a Masters in Brain and Mind Sciences and is currently undertaking her PhD in Medicine with the Brain and Mind Centre at the University of Sydney. Her topic is Yoga and Biofeedback in Complex Trauma with particular interest in heart rate variability and disorders of the autonomic nervous system. She believes in integrated living: self-care; and evidence-based science with spirit.


Her private and corporate clients benefit from integrated programs with physiological, psychological, and philosophical components with a particular focus on the therapeutic value of yoga for stress, anxiety and depression.


Jennifer also has an extensive corporate background in technology program management. In 2004, Jen founded a corporate consulting business and specialised in business optimisation and credit risk software testing for clients such as: GE; Optus; Telstra; Westpac; Commonwealth Bank of Australia; University of Western Sydney; and RMIT University.


In 2011, after 25 years as a yoga student, Jen founded Mr and Mrs Pose providing yoga, content and accessories in Australia and New Zealand. She built an online presence and ambassadorship with Easyoga. In 2012, Jennifer completed her 800-hour nationally recognised Certificate IV in Yoga Teaching with Byron Yoga. Her ongoing yoga education includes anatomy and physiology with Yoga Synergy and yogi Simon Borg-Olivier, Trauma Center Trauma-Sensitive Yoga (TCTSY) training, and pranayama intensives with Clive Sheridan.
